Click here to read about today's song on Wikipedia. Notes Like yesterday, this song should swing. Unlike yesterday, this one's written with straight eighth notes to represent the "swung" notes. To facilitate changes in mm. 3 & 4 (F, Fm, Dm7, G7), I used an alternate fingering for the F minor chord. Usually, it's fingered (starting with the fourth string) 1-0-2-4. Instead, I fingered 2-0-1-4, so that I could make a smoother transition to the Dm7 by just sliding the second finger forward a fret and dropping the third finger on the third string. The tessitura of this song lies better for me, but the voice is still a little rough. The first take, I noticed that I wasn't supporting the tone with my breath. While the recording is an improvement over the first attempt, it still shows me clearly what I need to work on vocally.
